This prototype is between sizes and will be updated once we measure it! It is in excellent condition, and the very same model that went on to be the Rapidfire VMG you know and love.
The Rapid Fire was the first slalom sail to offer 100% grid construction and that tradition continues! This twin cam slalom series features one cam below the boom and one above. The Rapid Fire is all about power. Its double vertical luff panel as well as slightly wider sleeve improves power and gives this model a 'race sail' feel. This model features a 100% grid construction for the ultimate in durability and UV resistance, anti-chafe bumper in the head, raised stainless steel 6-1 pulley with oversized rollers, thermo-formed base pad, interactive rigging guide, micro roller cambers, a mix of rod and tube battens, the Tack Strap II system, and Technora upper panels in the larger sizes (7.0 to 10.0).

Freight Shipments
Oversized or specialty items require freight shipping, including but not limited to:

- Masts 490 or bigger
- Sails 7.8 or bigger
- Cargo boxes
- Trailers
Delivery Requirements:
A person must be present to accept delivery for all residential freight shipments.
Shipping Cost:
The shipping cost estimated at checkout is subject to adjustment
based on actual shipping charges. If additional charges are required, we
will contact you. Should you choose not to proceed with the updated
cost, the order may be canceled.
Handling Time:
Freight items require special packaging and preparation, which may take 3–7 business days during peak shopping periods. Expedited handling is not available.
Shipping Time:
Delivery times are estimated and subject to delays due to factors
such as weather, road conditions, or carrier shortages. Expedited
shipping is not available for freight shipments.
