SUP Rental Single Person

This single person stand up paddle board rental is designed for one people and includes one stand up paddle board, one life vest, and one paddle. All persons renting must be capable swimmers and physically capable of maintaining control of the watercraft. All persons renting must be 18 years of age or older to sign the waiver form. To ensure safety, please wear water-friendly shoes. Additionally, it is recommended that you bring sunscreen and drinks.

If needed, water shoes are available for purchase at the concession for $7.50 per pair. We also offer a variety of dry bags for cell phones and other belongings. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled rental time to receive a proper fitting for your life vest and to review all rules and regulations.

Enjoy a day on the Halifax River in Port Orange, FL starting at the Port Orange Riverwalk Park. Paddle to the surrounding islands and experience the area's abundant wildlife, including dolphins and manatees. For the fishermen, this is the perfect launching spot, as the river is filled with various species such as flounder, red fish, trout, snook, sheeps head, and black drum.

The Riverwalk park also offers many other amenities for the family such as a playground, splash park, picnic benches and pavilions. The park has a large open field and beautiful walkway along the Halifax River.

Rentals at the Sandy Point Kayak Concession are weather dependent. We may close and cancel rentals at any time due to incoming or foretasted weather. If your rental has been canceled by Sandy Point Kayak Concession due to weather or any other reason, you will receive an email notification of the cancellation and a refund back to your original form of payment.

Please show up at least 15min prior to your rental time to get properly fitted with a life vest and go over the rules. If you are more than 15min late to your scheduled rental time, your rental unit may be released to other renters and no refund will be issued. All rentals and fees are non-refundable unless otherwise canceled by Sandy Point Kayak Concession.
